Master Craftsman at LVO!

I was very honored and humbled to be awarded the Master Craftsman award at LVO this year. Thank you to all of you who follow me and help keep me inspired to paint and share my work. :-)

Here is a picture of the award, along with a quick snapshot of some of my models taken by none other than Privateer Press's very own Will Hungerford!

Here is a picture of the entire army, taken by another Arizona player (Dean Vuckovich).

  5. Well deserved. I've read that you only paint a few hours a night. How do you produce so many? Can you come close to finishing one in a session? Thanks for sharing your awesome work!

    1. It's a marathon...I was working on that army for about 5 years. I don't get a ton painted every year but it does add up over time. I generally can't finish a model in one sitting unless I'm painting all day on a weekend and the model is small and doesn't have too many colors. If I had to guess I would say that a model (about the size of a Troll warlock) takes me 10-20 hours to finish depending on the number of colors, how detailed the model is, the amount of freehand work I add, etc. For example, that Grissel with blue skin I just painted was done from start to finish in 5 sessions of about 1.5 to 3 hours each.
